if f(x)=2x-5 and G(x)=x^2+1, what is G(f(x))? Apex!!

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

Hello @_dianaelena and Welcome to OpenStudy! Sorry for the late reply :-/ g(f(x)) means that you plug in f(x) as "x" in the g(x) equation so we can get G(f(x)) = (2x-5)^2 + 1 = (2x - 5)*(2x - 5) + 1 from there all you have to do is FOIL and add like terms to get your answer :) I hope this helped <3 and if you have any more questions feel free to tag me with @sleepyhead314 ^_^
