OpenStudy (anonymous):

let's look at the definition for ethos: the characteristic spirit of a culture, era, or community as manifested in its beliefs and aspirations some synonyms: spirit, character, atmosphere, mood, feeling... it likely would not be the speaker's credibility. there is one answer choice that works the best, especially given the list of synonyms for ethos. which one do you think that is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the audience's emotions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there's another question

OpenStudy (samkellogg):

what is ur other question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or should i close it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should make a variety of appeals—to the audience’s logic as well as your own image.True or false

OpenStudy (samkellogg):

just ask ur question it is easer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my answer is true but it might be wrong

OpenStudy (samkellogg):

what is it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

making a new post would be helpful, but for the sake of convenience we can keep it within this thread. if you're, say, giving a speech, you would want to keep your audience interested and present yourself in a professional manner. you'd want to be persuasive -- this is a reflection of your image, and it has an effect on your audience. so, the answer would be true. you're right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

woo thanks guys/girls

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem.
