There are nickels and dimes in a candy jar. If there are 22 more nickels than dimes write an expression that represents of the total number of coins if the number of dimes is d. Write your answer in standard form and use ^ to indicate an exponent, if necessary Find the perimeter of a square that has a side length of x + 3. Write your answer in standard form.

d' represents the number of dimes, and there are 22 more nickels than dimes. , (d +22) would equal the amount of nickels. But we have to find the total amount of coins the amount of nickels (d+22) with the dimes (d) so : (d+22) +d = total amount of coins
