LOL Xerxes was an evil king from Asia Minor who invaded and Leonidas was a swell bloke who fought him off, Alexander went on a merry little expedition all over the place and ended up with a mutiny in the desert near India. Socrates was a philosopher like 999 other Greeks. I suggest he would be the most apt choice in this scenario.
