@UsukiDoll Can you help me figure out how to set this up?

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

I don't know sorry =(

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

Dang ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x+ 2x+ 4x x will be oatmeal cookies

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you solve it by yourself now?

rishavraj (rishavraj):

see oatmeal = N so chocolate chips = 2N and sugar cookies = 4N so as total no of cookis = 56 so N + 2N + 4N = 56

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

MMhmmm... I don't know what to do next. It has been a long time since I've done 7th grade math lol. I can do medical calculations, but not this

rishavraj (rishavraj):

N + 2N + 4N = 56 7N = 56 N = 56/7 N = 8 so no of oatmeal = 8 no of chocolate chips = 2*8 = 16 no of sugar cookis = 4*8 = 32

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

How can we prove that it is correct?

rishavraj (rishavraj):

the value of N ....i.e N = 8 satisfies the equation N + 2N + 4N = 56 and also 8 + 16 + 32 = 56
