Which organelle gives plants the ability to grow tall? chloroplasts vacuoles cytoplasm cell walls mitochondria
chloroplasts - energy harvest vacuoles - storage cytoplasm - holds organelles cell walls - maintains cell shape mitochondria - produces ATP
Cell walls maintains the shape of the cell which enables them to grow tall. Its like animals with bones acting as cell wall
@.Sam. Hello Do you think the answer you gave is right..??
How will cell walls help them to grow tall... how are they dividing..??
The question here is not with dividing, you can divide countless of times yet the plant does not grow tall because it has many cells, but with cell wall, it has the support that it needs to be able to "straighten" up and grow tall
yes it is.. but simultaneously cytoplasm also works... It also have a major role in the growth..!!
@deepika.comet you're half way right, it says grow 'tall' though
yes... meristematic cells in the growth regions divide and redivide that help the growth in height and also the girth of the plant.. the cytoplasm of meristematic cells is special.. that has a capacity to divide continuously ...!!
