80% * 20 = ?
\(\sf 80\% \rightarrow 0.80\)
Remember, percentages are parts of 100, so to simplify a percentage, just divide it by 100. \(\sf 80\% \rightarrow \dfrac{80}{100} \rightarrow 0.80\)

Yep, that's our answer..the student got 16 questions correct out of 20. To check, divide. \(\sf \dfrac{16}{20} \rightarrow 0.80 \rightarrow 80\%\)
