what are we trying to prove?

Triangle HGI is congruent to triangle FEI

OpenStudy (alekos):

when two lines cross the opposite angles are equal hence m<HIG = m<FIE so now we have two triangles where two of the angles are equal and one side is equal so the third angle must also be equal and hence we have two congruent triangles
