If yes then the formula for the lateral area of a regular pyramid is 1/2Pl where l is the slant height and p is the perimeter of the base. First we have to find the slant height which is 2 sqrt of 3 (ask if you don't understand why). And the perimeter of the base is 12 so all you do now is multiply 12 and 2 to get 24 divide that by 2 to get 12 and then multiply that by sqrt of 3 to get 20.78460969, and thats the lateral area of the triangle.
