The electricity which you get is generated using this steam engine. All the thermal power plants have been using steam engines to produce the power. The parts include boiler, steam turbine, condenser. Early locomotives were also using stem engines to produce power. Since the invention of steam engine a lot of modification have been done on the steam engines to increase its efficiency and bring down its price with successful implementations.
