Point W(–4, 7) was translated as follows: W(–4, 7) W’(–2, 4). A student wrote the algebraic rule to describe the translation as (x,y)(x-3,y+2) Evaluate the student’s answer.

it is wrong. the correct description of the translation is (x,y)(x+2,y-3) because when x (-4) is translated to (-2), they are adding 2, and when y (7) is translated to (4), they are subtracting 3.
