How many variable terms are in the expression 3x3y + 5x2 + y + 9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes Dan i was being patient i swear

OpenStudy (danjs):

you have an x and a y as variables... each term is probably each of the product terms that are added together.. so i think they are lookign for 3 of the 4 terms as "Variable terms" containing one or both of the variables

OpenStudy (danjs):

Each term is put together by addition or subtraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its not 4 terms?

OpenStudy (danjs):

no the 9 term has neither of the variables

OpenStudy (danjs):

"constant term"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its 3 terms?

OpenStudy (danjs):

yes 3x3y 5x^2 and y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

K Ty so much (;

OpenStudy (danjs):
