The height in feet, h, of a model rocket t seconds after launch is given by the equation mc009-1.jpg. The average rate of change in h(t) between t = 1 second and t = 3 second is 6. What does the average rate of change tell you about the rocket?

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

This should be in the physics section, and you did not upload the image, so if you can please upload the image I will be able to help you.

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

But in any case it indicates the height the rocket went in the certain amount of time.

Use the equation and plot it in. For example \[h(t) = 16 \times 1 + 1^{2} = 9 seconds \] then you would do the same thing for 3 seconds
