Have you ever seen the movie "Red Tails" or "The Tuskegee Airmen"? That's them. They were famous for bomber escort. They were one of the Air Wings to fly over Berlin and one of the only wings during the war to never lose a signal bomber. Not even over Berlin.

Watch them. It's great. They were the first "all colored" Air Force unit in the U.S Army Air Core. One of the best units in our military history.
