How does the diction and characterization indicate the author’s purpose for writing about a human rights issue in Of Mice and Men?

OpenStudy (koikkara):

@victoria2378 The author used words that were not proper English such as \(ain't\) and other examples. I'm sure you can think of. John S made his characters low class people looking for work who don't have a lot of education. Using this perspective, he was able to show the readers that people like George and Lennie ( low class), still deserve proper medical care, related to human rights issues. \(Your~task\) is to look for things that show their \(low ~class\) and how Lennie is \(mentally~ disabled\) \(Hope~It~Helps\).
