OpenStudy (rosales0228):

We should either visit the art museum or attend a concert this weekend. Is this sentence correct for parallel structure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, the sentence uses correct tenses throughout the sentence. A sentence that isn't correct in parallel structure would be "She said she doesn't vote for politions who are dishonest, unreliable, or they don't have any experience." This does not use parallel structure because the use of tenses are incorrect hence making a confusing sentence to the reader.

Will give medal and fan if anyone helps with this question and i get it right:)

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

Thanks sooo much @stefanwolf1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Tell me if you get it right! Or if you have any other questions. I'm currently taking an English 2 class so I know these sorts of things.

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

What about this one? 'm sorry to bother you but I dont understand these at all!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

Yes i did get it right:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay what is the question?

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

Fire can be either friendly or a foe, depending on the situation.

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

Either fire can be friendly or foe, depending on the situation??? is that right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is the exact question? It's sort of an odd question honestly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There isn't more to it?

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

Nope thats all there is:(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say it's correct if you consider that fire can be friendly in order to keep us warm. Think of a campfire. However, I guess it could be a foe if you consider that there are fires that burn down houses or forest fires that kill wildlife.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Put your best guess, but I would say that it is a true statement.

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

I put Fire can be either a friend or a foe, depending on the situation, and i got it right:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Awesome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anything else?

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

yes just one more question! The road home is both icy and curvy, so be careful!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it's grammatically correct?

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

no if its parallel or not, same as how we did the other ones

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

Isn't it correct just the way it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It seems to be correct yes. There isn't an incorrect use of tenses.

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

It was correct!! Thanks sssooo much for all the help!! if i have any more questions ill tag you in them, only if thats okay with you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, that is perfectly fine. It helps me review for my exams!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good luck with future assignments!

OpenStudy (rosales0228):

Thanks:)
