What seems most reasonable here, technology obviously makes quality of life better? And as social interaction isn't mentioned here, I can only see it being one other thing.
Think rationally, I'm sure you can figure it out.

Have you heard the expression, "We've become the throw away sociiety" As an example if our DVD player fails, do we take it in for repairs, or just buy another one.
