can anyone help, what is the difference between call by reference and call by value.

Elsa213 (elsa213):

" There is no call by reference in C. You can pass the argument only through call by value. In call by value, you are sending the value of the argument, and within the function, a local variable is created to hold that value. So any changes that is made to this local variable wont be reflected in the calling function. "
