OpenStudy (asapt):

What is the name of the quadrilateral shown in the diagram? A. rhombus B. kite C. parallelogram D. trapezoid

OpenStudy (asapt):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is a parallelogram. Rhombus is ruled out because all sides must be equal, in a kite the sets of congruent lines must be adjacent, and in a trapezoid two lines are not congruent. A parallelogram has two sets of congruent sides and fits the diagram.
