We can easy eliminate A and D because those where after rome had fell, and if you know anything about history Rome rose when Greece fell, so those could not be the answers. Those two era are more middle aged, not ancient Greek.

A and D aren't relevant because we know Athens and Sparta were classical civilizations. I think your best bet is B, because that's relatively close to the Roman Empire which came right after the Greeks relatively.
