OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

Perimeter is just length multiplied by width with a square you can do the side length times four

OpenStudy (asapt):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not Length*width that's the area, its just all the sides added so yes a square is the sidelength times four

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

@kenzylee thanks I got thinking to fast it would be length plus width and then multiplied by two

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mistakes happen i do them all the time :)

OpenStudy (asapt):

I have some more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay :) fire away

Justin has 100 feet of fence to make a rectangular dog pen. What dimensions of the rectangle will provide the largest pen for the dog? A. 20 ft by 30 ft B. 25 ft by 25 ft C. 35 ft by 15 ft D. 40 ft by 10 ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its asking witch is the largest so you simplify the numbers by finding the area of each A is 600 feet^2 b is 625 feet^2 c is 525 feet^2 d is 400 feet^2 so b is the largest fence for the dog

OpenStudy (asapt):

ohh ok
