Which of the following is true of the data set represented by the box plot? box plot with point at 16, min at 33, Q1 at 40, median at 52, Q3 at 55, max at 78, and point at 86 The greatest value in the set is 79. The data is evenly distributed throughout the middle half. The data has an IQR of 45. Removing the outliers would not affect the median.

do you know how to do this buddy cause i dont
@jim_thompson5910
can you post a screenshot of this whole thing?
yeah
http://learn.flvs.net/webdav/assessment_images/educator_algebraI_v20/06_03_17.jpg
the points 16 and 86 are considered outliers... which means the highest score is 86... so that eliminates option 1 and the quartiles are 40 and 55 so the interquartile range is 15 that eliminates option C
i think it would be B
the distance from Q1 to the median is 40 to 52 = 12 Q3 to the median is 52 to 55 = 3 does this appear to be even
the link doesn't work. Take a screenshot instead http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/
and the even middle part is option B so does removing a score from the top and bottom of a data set, change the position of the median...?
ok... so if you think its B choose that option
ok
