OpenStudy (aizhalee):

help please

OpenStudy (marihelenh):

You can solve this by using a proportion because it is asking for the percent. \[\frac{ 300 }{ 900 }=\frac{ x }{ 100 }\] If you cross multiply, you will get, \[30000=900x\] Now, you can solve for x. You will have to round your answer.

OpenStudy (aizhalee):

so divide 3000 by 900?

OpenStudy (aizhalee):

30000*

OpenStudy (aizhalee):

ive gotten 33.3333

OpenStudy (marihelenh):

Yep, so 30% is your answer.

OpenStudy (aizhalee):

got it wrong

OpenStudy (marihelenh):

Did they say it was 300?
