OpenStudy (ashking1):

Describe how to transform the graph of f into the graph of g. f(x) = x^4 and g(x) = -x^4 can someone help me please

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Hint - its a reflection in one of the axes

OpenStudy (welshfella):

if f(x) = 4 g(x) becomes -4

OpenStudy (ashking1):

so its a 50/50 chance of x or y ............ (y i think)

OpenStudy (welshfella):

- its the 'y value' that becomes negative

OpenStudy (ashking1):

ok so f would reflect over the y axis...... just to make sure

OpenStudy (welshfella):

f(x) = x^4 looks something like |dw:1436730857921:dw|
