Suppose that you have a bowl of 500 M&M candies, and each day you eat 1⁄4 of the candies you have. Is the number of candies left changing linearly or exponentially? Write an equation to model the number of candies left after n days.

So your y intercept would be 500. It would be exponential. I am not sure if you've heard of compound interest but this is sort of like that. In CI, A = P (1 + r/n) ^ (nt) ...where "A" is the ending amount, "P" is the beginning amount (or "principal"), "r" is the interest rate (expressed as a decimal), "n" is the number of compoundings a year, and "t" is the total number of years. If you notice, your problem is very similar. hope this helped
