help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you need help in?

OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

Let us pretend I am the newly elected junior Senator from California. I came into office with a frail coalition of religious African Americans, religious Latinos, libertarians, and pro-business groups. I only won by 51%-49% against Gavin Newsom, the former mayor of San Francisco. I won by appealing to African Americans, Latinos, and Asians with an implicit promise that I would be a moderate on immigration. You are one of my key political advisors. I need you to make a recommendation to me. Find a topic in the press that is divisive and difficult and still unsettled. Find at least three different news sources from my list of 101, which have covered this topic. It should be a topic that includes a likelihood of a Senate vote coming up. Tell me what to do. I am new to Washington, homesick, overwhelmed by the lobbyists and corruption, and struggling to hang on to my idealism. I don't have very much time and need you to issue me a crisp, concise memo advising me to vote up or down. Your recommendation should cite at least three political articles. You should explain in a brief, readable way why this yes or no vote is the right thing to do. You should also brief me by advising me of key phrases or terms that I should use in announcing my vote to the public. You are working for a US Senator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

their have been many cases about it and the police officers always end up winning

OpenStudy (anonymous):
