How do I figure out if these two objects are similar? For my online class (FLVS Geometry Honors) I have to do a project where I take an object and make a dilation of the object, then make a proof. The object is a chair and I was wondering if I could use the 'rectangle' the chair makes up from a side view as proof. Even then, how do I show that two rectangles are similar? All I have so far is: AB=CD BC=AD A,B,=C,D, B,C,=A,D, reason: definition of a rectangle. what else do I need?
