I need help with this question on my science packet and I don't understand it. A 70kg person travels to a planet where he weighs 1750 N. What is the value of g on the that planet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Weight can be calculated as \(W=mg\), and since \(g\) is different for different planets, you would get different values for the weight, considering the same mass. So, knowing the mass, \(70Kg\) and the weight in a particular planet, you can get the value of \(g\) for that planet :)
