please tell me how to solve this question its 242+726>1152

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well @mad5606 there is really not much to solve here. All you need to do is add 242+726 and see if it is greater than 1152.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks (;

OpenStudy (mrnood):

maybe you have not typed the question in full? Is there meant to be an x in the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah that's what I thought @MrNood

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i forgot it was 242x+726>1152

OpenStudy (mrnood):

ok - you can treat an inequality similar to an = sign in most cases so first subtract 726 from each side write your result here...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i messed up again it was 1452but once i did that i got x=3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so thanks (;

OpenStudy (mrnood):

Careful! this is an Inequality the answer is not x=3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not

OpenStudy (mrnood):

your original expression was an inequality the answer is also an inequality

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh
