MEDAL AND WILL FAN What information is needed in order to determine that two triangles are congruent?
Would it just be the knowledge of two of the angle and a side or vice versa? Because of the SAS, SSS, ASA, AAS postulates, but what about the HL postulate?
SAS AAS ASA SSS HL
So would this be an appropriate answer. To determine two triangles are congruent, you need to use one of the 5 properties of congruency. 3 of these calls for the information that two angles and a side of the two triangles being congruent or vice versa (two sides and an angle). The fourth calls for three sides being congruent with each other. The last is reserved for right triangles only, which needs the knowledge of the hypotenuse and the leg of the two triangles being congruent.
