Urban legends are our modern-day folklore. Describe a cautionary urban legend that you have heard and describe what it was supposed to caution you against. When faced with a similar situation, did the urban legend influence your decision?
I really don't have any examples in my mind or that i've been told of. One example is bloody mary but I need something other than that.

I do! Like 13 is our unlucky number, and in Japan and China, 4 is the unlucky number 'cause I guess it's pronounced the same as "demon" or something.

The hookman legend is believed to discourage teenagers from under-aged sex. There's also vanishing hitchhiker, which is telling people not to pick up hitchhikers. So uhm, I guess don't have under-aged sex and don't pick up hitchhikers ? One last one is fatal hairdo, which probably encourages people to not be so concerned with their looks.
As for your idea of Bloody Mary, my guess for a moral would be because people are so pressured into things, to not do them. A few years ago, I think I was like nine, my friends told me that I needed to try that game. If I didn't they'd tease me until I gave in. Eventually I just said "No. Either you stop talking about it or I'm going home." Either that's the moral or don't mess around with the spirit world. Sorry for rambling on.
