OpenStudy (anonymous):

if h^-1(x) is the inverse of h(x) what is the value of h^-1(h(x)) A. X B. 1 C. 0 D. X^-1

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Often when we apply a function f and then its inverse f^(-1) we get our original value back so mathematically this means \[f(f^{-1}(x)) = x\]

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

So what do you think would happen if you had \[f^{-1}(f(x))\] same result as above or different?
