Why do speakers emphasize particular words and phrases? To make the language is more memorable To remind the audience of the theme To make a claim seem logical To avoid counterarguments

I think its B or C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A To make the language is more memorable. I think so. You insist on something. B To remind the audience of the theme -> the emphasized word is not always linked to the theme in my opinion. If I say DON'T touch this. Or I NEVER saw that. The "don't" or the "never" are not a theme. Or I can say "This person is WEIRD". C To make a claim seem logical --> No, you can't make a claim seems logical only by emphazing words, or you are very gifted. D To avoid counterarguments. --> No. It has nothing to do with logics once again. I would say A. But why do you think C is an interesting answer?
