@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (chillout):

\[A_{circle}=\pi*r^{2}.\] where r is the radius. You were given the diameter, which is 2 times the lenght of the radius.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hes got it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so i do 2x the length of the radius and then i'll get my answer, right? @ChillOut

OpenStudy (chillout):

You take half of the lenght of the diameter, which in this case is 8. The radius is 4.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait so my answer is 4 or i multiply it by four? sry i'm confused :b

ok so would my answer be D.?

OpenStudy (chillout):

You plug 4 in the equation I presented you, I.E. \[A_{circle}=\pi*(8/2)^{2}= 64/4*\pi\]
