its been so long since i was in school how do u find the mean medium mode and range
mean = add up all the numbers, then divide by how many numbers there are for example, if we have A, B, and C, we add them up and divide by 3, since there are 3 items mean = (A+B+C)/3
median: organize the numbers in ascending order, then find the one in the middle if we have an even number of numbers, we take the middle two numbers and find the average for example, if we have the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, we take 2 and 3, which are in the middle, then take the average, which is (2+3)/2 = 2.5
range = biggest number - smallest number
mode is the number (or numbers) that appears most often. there may or may not be a mode example 1: 1,2,2,3 2 is the mode because it appears most often example 2: 1,1,2,2,3 1 and 2 are the modes, since they each appear most often example 3: 1,2,3 there is no mode since all numbers appear the same number of times (once)
