#1 Which of the following statements about the Gospels is true? Select one: a. They are about the life of Jesus before he began to preach. b. They are a part of the Old Testaments Hebrew Scriptures. Incorrect c. They are a part of the New Testament of the Christian Bible. d. They were written by the apostles Stephen, Jacob, Philip, and Thomas.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Zedditup heres the first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

From what I know of the Gospels, they are the following of Jesus' life. The canonical gospels are included in the New Testament, though

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

As defined by dictionary.com, Gospels is "any of the first four books of the New Testament, namely Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John"

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

I see you have a lot of prior knowledge in this topic, Zedditup. Therefore continue helping =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then it would be c ?

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

Most likely. I do not know a lot about religion, but based on dictionary.com, it seems correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okayy thankyou @Zedditup ready for more ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Fire away

#2 What are the verses Jesus spoke that serve as the outline for Christianity? Select one: a. the Beatitudes b. the Old Testament Incorrect c. the New Testament d. the Apostles Creed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

definitely b or c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you say b is incorrect, then c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Definitely A or D lol. The Beatitudes, I believe, are associated with Matthew and a Creed is related to a symbol. The Apostles Creed can then be thought of as a symbol for Christianity. Give me one minute

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thankyou both lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Zedditup I am currently taking a world history class and it said that the Bible included the new testament. I'm just basing it off of my lesson. Since the Bible includes the teachings of jesus, C would make sense.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can try to find the lesson so I can help out more though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okaay , heres the next one !(:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#3 Which of the following ideas does Christianity accept that Judaism does not accept? Select one: a. It is important to worship God b. The Messiah has already come c. It is important to give charity Incorrect d. You should love your neighbor as yourself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Most likely b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Judaism and Christianity were both monotheistic so they both believed in god.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And according to my lesson, judaism believed the messiah has not yet came.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Stefan is right. In Judaism, the messiah has not yet come.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can link my study guide on comparing religions it may help you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just remember my name and I'll try to help haha. Sometimes I don't catch things immediately, so a tag would be great. Maybe even a message since that pops right up on my screen
