yep (1,2) 1 is where the initial value happens 2 is the actually the initial value
the geometric sequence you see there is... 2,4,8 where the common ratio is 2 and the initial value of sequence is 2 where the sequence can be described as : \[a_n=2 (2)^{n-1} \\ \text{ and we see } a_1=2(2)^{1-1}=2(2)^{0}=2(1)=2 \\ \text{ the first number in the sequence is 2 given by n=1 }\]
