What is the value of x? 47 33 28 56
that's tough very tough what have you learned so far?
\(c = \dfrac{a + b}{2} \) |dw:1437334141875:dw|
nice formula, but how did you get that? throwing formulas do not really give people intuitive ideas
Hint: See http://www.regentsprep.org/regents/math/geometry/gp15/circleangles.htm
@mathmate that actually did help, thank you !
that still doesn't answer how the formula came to be
|dw:1437335336370:dw| x=a/2+b/2=(a+b)/2 (exterior angles) a/2 and b/2 follow from the central angle theorem. @nincompoop
@dani_00 You're welcome! :)
@dani_00 Did you get an answer?
i got 28 but im not sure if its correct
@mathstudent55
@dani_00 Look at the link I gave you, scroll to item #4, and apply the formula to find x. Please tell me what you get.
i got 47
thank you @mathmate
Correct! You're welcome! :)
That is it!|dw:1437338232247:dw|
