Medal AND FAN!!!! Describe the graph of the function f(x) = x3 − 15x2 + 68x − 96. Include the y-intercept, x-intercepts, and the end behavior

Nnesha (nnesha):

y -intercept where line cross y-axiss and x-intercept where line cross x-axis did you graph it on a calculator ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

Nnesha (nnesha):

if the highest degree is a odd number and the leading coefficient is negative then right end will fall and left end will rise **and if the leading coefficient is positive then right side will rise and left will fall

Nnesha (nnesha):

alright graph that equation first

Nnesha (nnesha):

btw you DON'T have to for y-intercept (when line touch the y -axis x=0) so plug in 0 for x solve for y x-intercept when y =0 so plug in 0 for y solve for x

Root plot for : y = x2-7x+12 Axis of Symmetry (dashed) {x}={ 3.50} Vertex at {x,y} = { 3.50,-0.25} x -Intercepts (Roots) : Root 1 at {x,y} = { 3.00, 0.00} Root 2 at {x,y} = { 4.00, 0.00}

Nnesha (nnesha):

hmm

Nnesha (nnesha):

nah i can easily figure out that graph is wrong bec highest degree is odd which is 3 your graph should be like this |dw:1437394937194:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what is the x-intercept

Nnesha (nnesha):

https://www.desmos.com/ use this calculator or replace y by 0 solve for x

Nnesha (nnesha):
