Danny selects a glass bottle from the shelf randomly without looking and then tosses the fair coin. What is the probability that he will select a purple glass bottle and that the coin will land heads up? 1 over 10 1 over 8 1 over 6 1 over 5

Mehek (mehek14):

purple = \(\dfrac{4}{20}=\dfrac{1}{5}\) heads = \(\dfrac{1}{2}\) the probability = \(\dfrac{1}{2}*\dfrac{1}{5}\)

Mehek (mehek14):

multiply that and you will get your answer

i got 0.1 doe

Mehek (mehek14):

\(0.1=\dfrac{1}{10}\) or you could've just done this \(\dfrac{1}{2}*\dfrac{1}{5}\\1*1=1\\2*5=10\\ \dfrac{1}{10}\)

thanksssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
