Habitat: Cheetahs are best known for living in the grasslands of East Africa , in vast national parks like the Serengeti or Masai Mara. The animals in East Africa are Mountain gorilla, elephant, hippopotamus, antelope, lion, giraffe, leopard, zebra, black rhinoceros, wild dog. The most popular plant in East Africa is Alchemilla, another plant that is in East Africa lobelia. The type of soil in East Africa is dry. The kind of sand is sand boab. The water type they have lakes also they are islands off the East African shoreline in the Indian Ocean. Types of rocks are Tsavo, and Olumo Rock. The climate is typically hot and dry all year long in East Africa. The rainy season isn't even that wet there. Biology of Cheethas: Cheethas eat this animals gazelles, wildebeest calves, impalas, and smaller hoofed animals. Furthermore, cheetahs may eat rabbits, birds, hares, antelopes, and warthogs. Occasionally, cheetahs are attacked by larger predators such as lions, hyenas and leopards. Cheetahs form no pair bonds and mate freely with members of the opposite sex during any time of the year. Cheetahs mate an average of three to five times per day. Cheethas mostly live in grassy savannah plains, scrub forests, grasslands, and semi-arid deserts, cheetahs need to inhabit areas that are infinitely open with plenty of area to roam or run after their prey.
