Is this a right triangle? 2304=2304.000644 I'm not sure if they're supposed to be EXACTLY the same.

Nnesha (nnesha):

you can apply Pythagorean theorem to check it a^2 +b^2 =c^2 plug in a ,b,c values if both sides are equal then yes that's a right triangle

OpenStudy (-welp-):

I just did that. I don't know if the two numbers have to be rounded to the nearest digit and then compared.

OpenStudy (marihelenh):

No, it is not a right triangle, because the hypotenuse must be larger than either of the legs. If one of the legs is longer or equal, it is not a right triangle.

Nnesha (nnesha):

round what ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

just plug in a b and c values solve right and left side if you get equal sides then yes

Nnesha (nnesha):

remember hypotenuse is the longest side of triangle which is c in the equation
