How many purple marbles are there?
OpenStudy (kropot72):
The probability of drawing a purple marble is 2/30 on each trial.
The expected number of purple marbles after 300 trials is therefore
\[\large \frac{2}{30}\times\frac{300}{1}=?\]
OpenStudy (muscrat123):
i think so because all of the marbles added up = 30, and 30 x 10 = 300
OpenStudy (muscrat123):
2 x 10 = 20
OpenStudy (kropot72):
Correct.
