Hey, I just redeemed 100 owlbucks to get a recommendation letter and a volunteer certificate. How does the process really work? I did follow the on screen instructions, and I got the e-mails about the orders, but I don't know what happens next?

I'm a bit lost on this one.. I remember it said to put my email, my smart score, medals received, and links with proof of helping so I've done that and then I've received two confirmation emails. What happens next???? Like how the real information come into play?

I've seen the sample recommendation letter on the blog, but not the sample volunteer certificate. And, do I receive the recommendation letter and volunteer certificate through email or regular mail?

Probably by now they are already doing it. You just have to wait, I guess. It took 2-3 days when I received my volunteer record (the one posted on the blog) and more than one week for the recommendation letter. They will send it to you via email because that's how they sent me the files. I'm not sure about the volunteer certificate.

Preetha looks at the information on your account... and writes the letter into a template...

Or if they finally automated it, it takes the information from your smartscore and runs a calculation on it... the calculation determains what the letter should contain, and inserts it into the e-mail template... then ships it off to you by email
