I have mine but please only use it as a guide for your work, I don't want either of us to get in trouble. The resolution of the plot was Lennie getting shot in the back of the head by George, and George feeling really bad about it. This reflects the author's view as in how people didn't understand Lennie and his mental disability, and he got treated differently for it. In this case it went to the extreme and he got killed because of it. The author uses a diction that reflects how under-educated the men are. "You done it, didn't you? I s'pose you're glad. Ever'body knowed you'd mess things up. You wasn't no good. You ain't no good now, you lousy tart." Steinbeck's word choice implies that the two were southern, and the southerners aren't very tolerant of things they don't understand.
