I need quick help! I need an explanation!
How do you know if two lines are paralell, perpendicular or neither based on slope? Ifthe slope is 2/3 on one, what is the other?
@ash2326 @acxbox22 @Griffindore @Crissy15 @ganeshie8 @Goldentrisha
@iGreen @Donblue @animalfan1
and slope perpendicular slopes are *NEGATIVE RECIPROCAL* If slope of first equation is 4/5 then slope of perpendicular line is negative 5/4
parallel lines have same slope if slope of first equation is 2 then slope of 2nd equation is also 2
and slope perpendicular slopes are *NEGATIVE RECIPROCAL* If slope of first equation is 4/5 then slope of perpendicular line is negative 5/4
THANKYOU SO MUCH!:D
What if it is parallel? @Nnesha
HELPPLEASE?
@AaronAndyson ?
or neither?
Perpendicular : slope is NEGATIVE RECIPROCAL Parallel : slope is same
what about neither @AaronAndyson ?
No idea :(
if slopes are not same and not perpendicular then neither example if slope of first equation is 2 and slope of 2nd equation is 3 os neither
\(\color{blue}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @domisreallytall What if it is parallel? @Nnesha \(\color{blue}{\text{End of Quote}}\) parallel lines have the same slope so if slope of first equation is 3 then slope of 2nd equation is also 3
