Find the cosine ratio of angle Θ. Hint: Use the slash symbol ( / ) to represent the fraction bar, and enter the fraction with no spaces.

OpenStudy (hybrik):

To find the ratio, you would need a triangle

OpenStudy (hybrik):

But if you are asking for the formula, it would be Adjacent / Hypotenuse

How would i do this??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be 13/12

OpenStudy (hybrik):

Lets find the adjacent of that angle, the adjacent is the side right next to the angle, so that side would be 5. Cosine is Adjacent over Hypotenuse, So now we have to find the hypotenuse, which on that triangle would be 13. So the ratio is 5/13

Thank you so Much!!!!!!!

Your welcome
