Match each equation with the correct solution. logb 9=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the solution to this equation? LOGb 9=2

OpenStudy (anikhalder):

Do you mean: \[\log_{b}9 = 2 \] if that is so then do you know the following: We can write an equation having a logarithm on one side like, \[\log_{b} a = c\] Then, this can be written as: \[a = b ^{c}\] Returning to the question at hand, you can write \[\log_{b}9 = 2 \] as \[9 = b ^{2}\] So, we can now figure out what b is. :)))
