2(3x-4)=5x+6 solve for x? Can someone please help me step by step. So far i know you have to distribute the 2 making it 6x-8=5x+6 but im stuck after that.

Anyone please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

next subtract 5x from both sides and add 8 to both sides giving you: x=14
