can anyone help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plz

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

I can

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

So you aren't actually finding her age, you're just finding an equation that could be used.

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

You are changing the words to numbers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i think the answer is c

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

So four times Amy's age, x = 4x. And then we know Ava's age is 5 less than 4x, and less than means subtract. That leaves you with 4x-5!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i got it right

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

4x-5 is written as B.

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

But you were correct earlier

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no sry i wrote it wrong its actually c

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

Ok, yup, you were right above and you knew it should have been written as c, so you are correct!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yaaaay!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnx

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

Np!
